KCB - An ENERGY STAR Partner

An ENERGY STAR partner

What is ENERGY STAR?

ENERGY STAR is the government-backed symbol for energy efficiency. The mark identifies new homes, buildings, and more than 50 types of products that are energy efficient and offer the features, quality, and performance that today's consumers expect.

What is an ENERGY STAR Home?

A home that earns the ENERGY STAR is significantly more efficient than a standard home. By building an ENERGY STAR qualified home, you can have all the features you desire in your new home, plus better performance and lower utility bills - all while helping prevent greenhouse gas emissions. This is achieved by meeting strict energy efficiency guidelines set by the U.S. EPA and U.S. DOE.

In fact, ENERGY STAR qualified homes are at least 15% more energy efficient than homes built to the 2004 International Residential Code (IRC) and include additional energy-saving features that typically make them 20-30% more efficient than standard homes. Your home designs, layouts, and option packages need not change to incorporate energy efficiency. With the help from Keystone Custom Builders, Inc  you can choose from a variety of "tried and true" energy efficiency features to meet ENERGY STAR performance guidelines. Such as:

  • Effective Insulation  (standard)
  • Tight Construction and Ducts  (standard)
  • Efficient Heating and Cooling Equipment
  • High Performance Windows
  • Efficient Products
  • Independent Testing  (standard)

Keystone Custom Builders, Inc.   is a proud builder of  ENERGY STAR labeled homes and has partnered with ENERGY STAR as a sign of their commitment to reducing the environmental impact of  a home while it is being built and over the many years it will be lived in.
